Batman Arkham
Да, у издателя бывали откровенно неудачные проекты вроде The Crew, но при этом они же выпустили Far Cry 3 и Far Cry 4, Spinter Cell (например, прекрасную Blacklist), South Park: The Stick Of Truth, Rayman: Legends (которая ещё круче, чем Rayman Orirings, которая тоже была очень даже хорошей игрой).
Ubisoft
Background
Quinn was born in Galway, Ireland in 1938. He said that he came from a poor family, and had five brothers and sisters. They left Galway for Chicago when he was young, and one of his sisters died on the way. Quinn later became a thug in the local mafia in Chicago. During this time, he was involved in a shootout with Al Capone’s Chicago Outfit, but he luckily survived; he was then nicknamed Lucky.
In an unknown year, Quinn became the boss of the Chicago South Club, which became even more powerful under his reign. Quinn made a deal with the Blume Corporation and helped finance the CTOS project in exchange for access to the network, giving Quinn even more power. Thanks to the Bellwether code from Blume, Quinn recorded a video of mayor Donovan Rushmore murdering Rose Washington, a former employee from Blume, which he used as a blackmail to control the mayor, and also arranged his re-election. Quinn also associated the Club with the Black Viceroys led by Delford «Iraq» Wade. Both lead to a major human trafficking ring. Quinn is also a billionaire and owns many businesses such as the prestigious Merlaut Hotel in Mad Mile, Chicago.
In 2012, two hackers, Aiden Pearce, and Damien Brenks, hacked in the Merlaut Hotel to siphon the customers’ bank accounts. Quinn, however, thought that they were looking for Rushmore’s footage. Quinn hired Clara Lille to identify the duo and Iraq (who hired Maurice Vega) to carry out the hit. Lena Pearce, Aiden’s niece, died in the attack. Aiden then swore that the one who ordered the hit would die, and would be the one to eventually kill him by hacking his pacemaker.
Quinn is also described to be a philanthropist, though it is assumed that it is actually a cover-up for the Club’s activities. The people of Chicago have a generally positive opinion about Quinn, which means they are unaware of Quinn’s ties with the Club and the CTOS.
Trivia
- Wrench’s Safehouse in Watch Dogs: Legion, located at Brixton Barrier Block, was made accessible to all players in story mode and online mode with Title Update 4.0 on May 4, apparently by mistake. It was removed with a PC patch later that month, and it later became inaccessible on all platforms with the release of Title Update 4.5 on June 1.
- Wrench’s birthday is April 4 of an unknown year, most likely in the mid-1980s to mid-1990s. However, he likes to tell people his birthday is April 1, which is April Fools’ Day, possibly because of his humorous personality.
- Between Haum Sweet Haum and Robot Wars he owned his own robot, Wrench Jr.
- In the mission Motherload, he is playable.
- It was revealed that he likes rock music.
- In the mission Haum Sweet Haum, Wrench tells Marcus that he has a strong disliking for animals, stating that «They’re all evolving to replace us on the food chain.» In particular, it is shown he becomes nervous around even the most harmless animals, including young puppies.
- Wrench was originally going to be a strong and tough fixer, but when Ubisoft cast a non-famous actor to play the role, who didn’t have the body type, they worked to change the character to match the actor, making Wrench less intimidating and funnier.
- Wrench possibly sees through his mask via a small camera positioned towards the top of his mask.
- In the side mission The Name Game, after Wrench asks Marcus if his real name was in the list of Prime_Eight
In Bloodline, it is revealed that Wrench’s name is Reginald Blechman.
‘s doxxing list, Marcus answers «Sure was, Reginald.» Sitara sounds surprised to learn Wrench’s apparent real name, implying that Marcus knew it before Sitara did. However, after retrieving Wrench’s mask from the FBI, Marcus tells Sitara that he does not know Wrench’s actual name, and she replies that » will never tell.»
- The mechanism of Wrench’s mask is unknown since his hands are generally free when the emotes change. It is possibly based on CTOS 2.0’s emotion analysis function or some other form of the facial recognition system.
- During the mission W4TCHED after Marcus meets with Wrench in the coffee shop, when exiting Wrench is seen having a conversation with the coffee shop worker, Naomi. It is possible to enter the coffee shop and hear their conversation.
- In Bloodline, Wrench’s mask will disappear when driving vehicles. It re-appears on his face when exiting a vehicle.

Abilities
- High Intelligence: Tobias possesses mechanical aptitude and is highly inventive. He’ll often build tools to covertly sell at his shop.
- Combat Skills: Tobias is skilled in the use of firearms, as he was seen wielding a P-9mm pistol when he was being chased by Aiden Pearce, and he is shown to have decent aim; when Pearce was chasing him through High Grove, Tobias shot at gas tanks to hinder him. However, his combat performance relies solely on the use of firearms, as he was quickly dispatched and disarmed by Pearce when he was finally cornered.
- Athletic Skills: Despite his frail appearance, Tobias was able to temporarily evade Pearce when he was chased through High Grove, notably scaling neighborhood obstacles with little trouble.
Audio Logs
Tobias has three Audio Logs which can be found in the Bad Blood DLC. All three are found inside the BlumeForge building, in the room which Eugene must enter to bypass the first laser security gate.
Tobias Frewer X01
«So Blume’s been looking at investing into our hackerspace and that’s got everybody at each other’s throats. Some of us want to avoid the corporate control—kind of goes against the spirit of what we do here, right? But on the other hand, we’re talking about BIG money and that means the projects get bigger. We could do something real here instead of just playing around. Blume’s promising they won’t take away any of our creative control. They say they want to invest, not dictate. Do I trust them? Not entirely. Is the risk worth the reward? Yes. But I’m in the minority here. These guys would rather discuss starship engineering than our future here. I’m going to have to convince them. Also: Why do people fixate on the aesthetics of a starship? There’s no need to be sleek in space. Functionality is key, not… not form.»
Tobias Frewer X02
«The lab’s all worked up over the Blume branding we got. BlumeForge. Sounds fine to me. Pete quit — said he wasn’t willing to sell his soul to the dark gods for financial gain. He pointed right at me because somehow I’ve now become the unofficial liaison between us. Thing is — I’m not in this for the money. I know, I know. that’s(sic) what everybody says. But really—I’m eager to see what we can do. I feel like I’ve finally been given a shot at something. No more computer repairs and tech support, these guys are giving me a shot to prove myself and I’m going to take it. I’ve decided to tell Sandy tonight. Can’t wait to see her face. She’s been working two jobs to support us this year, and I know she’s been wanting to give the middle finger to her own dark gods and walk like Pete did.»
Tobias Frewer X03
«They moved Rose and I into a proper Blume lab this week and we were introduced to our new project. They’re calling it the Central Operating System — ctOS for short. Software to run an entire city. I knew we were going big, but this is … BIG. We’ll be working on a test site, we’re calling it the Bunker. I met one of my new partners today. Everybody went quiet when he walked in — he’s a hacking legend. Best of the best, they say. Looked like a knuckle-dragger to me. Right away, he started picking on me. Said my parents were, and I quote, «a pair of dirty douchebags» for naming me Tobias and that he’s going to call me Frewer from now on. Nobody’s called me Frewer since gym class back in high school. I’m not going to let this hooligan ruin a good thing for me.»
Tips
Easy level
- Pay attention to the countdown timers. Some count down slower than others, like the ones that require multiple inputs on the same one (the ones with the dots above them).
- If you hit one with a chain, it will create one or more additional buttons prompts. The countdown timer on the additional ones starts right away so if you hit another chained one, then the one that appeared first should be done first.
- Finding a pattern that works is much better than just randomly flying around.
- Anticipate the locations of moving ones. If they are moving in a circle, approach it from the opposite direction.
- If your circle is covering two of them, you can hit both buttons at the same time.
- For the ones that change buttons every couple seconds, try to memorize which ones they switch between.
- The detection radius is a little forgiving and you don’t need to completely cover them with your circle.
Medium Level
- When you have a moving target that bounces off a wall, you don’t have to move the stick but just a hair to keep it centered. The game will automatically turn direction for you on your stick circle.
- When you have both a yellow and blue on opposite sides of the screen, focus on just the one and slowly move the other one around blindly until you get it.
- When you need both in the same circle, attempt to get both of them in the same spot and then move them together into the circles.
- If all else fails, get a second person and you each control just one Analog stick. Also flipping the controller when they come up backwards may help or changing the x and y axis in the controller setup menu. Adjusting the sensitivity of the controller analog sticks could help. Without proper practice, these adjustments won’t make it any easier.
Hard Level
- This mainly applies to the Drinking game in Pawnee. It requires great focus and much practice.
- The opponent in Pawnee is the «Extreme Drinking Game Challenge.» This, more than anything, will require some practice. Refer back to the custom help steps for the specific Challenge you have.
- Save this Challenge for last! It’s extremely frustrating. This will alternate between both methods provided by the first two opponents and amp up the difficulty considerably. You WILL need to be much quicker.
- You will fail and when you fail your will humorously wake up drunk elsewhere in the neighborhood.
- There’s nothing new about the QTE button game other than being more difficult, but there is a new twist on the blue and yellow analog stick game.
- If you see an orange circle, this means the R or L stick is REVERSED. So UP is DOWN, LEFT is RIGHT, DOWN is UP, RIGHT is LEFT, etc..
- Also, when both sticks are involved, sometimes it’s a mystery as to which one is which. Therefore, adjusting the controls, sensitivity, or getting another person to help can make it easier.
Main Characters
There is no set main character in Watch Dogs: Legion; instead, the game relies on a system that allows the player to recruit any civilian to DedSec’s cause. As a result, the only consistent characters within the game are the allies, antagonists and DLC characters.

Skills and abilities
- ❝ Experience has taught me not to be manipulated… not to back down.❞
- ―Lucky Quinn in A Risky Bid
- Master Strategist: He also seems to have some affinity towards the old-school gangster ways of the past, made evident for his gang meetups and briefcase swapping. He has a keen eye for opportunity, seeing the new CTOS as a way to advance his reign to a whole new level and attain even more power.
- Master of Manipulation: He has always been a master of manipulation even before CTOS. After acquiring access to CTOS and more specifically the Bellwether Code, his manipulatory skills were further enhanced. He was able to manipulate the mayor and Rose Washington to fall in love, in order to acquire Blackmail over him. During the auction, he did manage to see through Aiden Pearce’s guise as Nicholas Crispin, yet he stood by him and even greeted him sarcastically. Despite him knowing that Aiden has come to sabotage the auction, he still stood by him, spoke to him, gained knowledge on Aiden’s views on the auction and gave him advice for never showing weakness, as if he were speaking to one of his most promising successors.
- Intimidation: Due to his secret reputation amongst criminals and mercenaries, he is easily able to manipulate their fears of him to their advantage. This was evidenced when a man whom he hired to steal a laptop and some data, was extremely nervous of meeting him, even to the point of unintentionally letting his guard down, which led to Lucky killing him.
- Business Management: Quinn has managed to convince the world that he is a philanthropist when in secret he is the Don of the Chicago South Club. He has investments in various businesses, most notably, The Merlaut Hotel in Mad Mile and Blume’s CTOS project.
- Resources: As the Don of the Chicago South Club, a philanthropist, and business investor, Quinn has a vast amount of resources at his disposal. His income is above $10,000,000. He even owns his own marina, which is well guarded. His most powerful weapon was the Bellwether Code, a relative brainwashing software.
- Combat Skills: He may be 75, has a cane for walking and appears weak, but Quinn is certainly not someone to be messed with. He has a small blade hidden within the top of his walking stick. He is patient as he waited for the thug to drop his guard before he used his hidden blade to stab him in the neck.
Trivia
- He likes video games such as Glitch Wars, baseball, and science fiction.
- He owns a «Raving Rabbid» remote control toy in his bedroom. It can be seen in his bedroom and when hacked, plays the «bwaaaaa» sound effect.
- He is the only child (excluding those found/heard in Privacy Invasions) to be shown alive in the game.
- His birthday is in September, revealed in Big Brother, as the game takes place in September .
- In Bloodline, he mentions that he volunteers as a street medic at DedSec protests and is well-acquainted with Connie Robinson.
- Jackson’s working-world experience in college included an internship as a researcher at bus manufacturer E-storm, as revealed in Hostile Takeover.
Gameplay
Watch Dogs: Legion is an action-adventure game played from a third-person view. The game is set within an open world, fictionalized representation of London, which will encompass notable landmarks, boroughs, and cultural styles of the city. The game’s setting takes place within a London that has become a surveillance state. Personal liberties have been vastly limited, and citizens are constantly monitored in their activities by Albion, a private security company that acts as the city’s law enforcement. The player will have the ability to navigate the city either by foot, using vehicles, or fast-traveling via the city’s Underground stations. Unlike the previous games in the series which focused on the use of a single protagonist to drive the story’s narrative, Legion features the ability to control multiple characters within the game’s setting. Each of these characters can be recruited through a unique mission, though this depends on their standing with DedSec; for example, a character who the hacker group helps out will be in favor of aiding them when asked and completing their recruitment mission, whereas a character whose family member was accidentally killed by a DedSec member will not tolerate the group and likely refuse to join.
Once a character is recruited into the player’s roster, they are assigned to one of three classes: combat, stealth or hacking. Each class features its own set of tools and ability upgrades when a character levels up from completing missions and activities. Each character also has their own background which dictates a special skill or trait they have. For example, a recruited character may be more skilled with drones and thus can do more damage with them, while another is an «adrenaline junkie» who deals more damage but at the possible risk of dying at any random moment. All characters in the game recruited into the player’s roster have their own personal lives when not being controlled, can be fully customized with various clothing options, and can wield a mixture of lethal and non-lethal weapons, the latter featuring a more extensive selection than in previous titles.
Permadeath
Because the player can recruit a large roster of characters to control, Watch Dogs: Legion introduces the permadeath feature to balance things out, where each character can be permanently lost during the course of the game. Characters risk the possibility of being killed either while conducting operations for DedSec against other groups or against local law enforcement, provided that players have the permadeath option enabled.
Combat
Watch Dogs: Legion puts more of an emphasis on close quarters combat: there are certain enemies who will use melee weapons to attack you and you can either use your weapons or fists to take them out. Weapons have become more customizable giving you the option to choose between setting your weapon to Lethal or Non-Lethal. Each decision you make as different characters affect the world, the personality of your character and the world’s perception of DedSec. Like Watch Dogs 2, drones are a big part of Watch Dogs: Legion, featuring combat drones that take over the role of the traditional cop car chases (and military checkpoints that replace police blockades), construction drones that carry payloads (and can be ridden on once hijacked), riot drones that replace police officers, etc., and these drones can be hacked only by those whose skills are great at hacking. Additionally, driving has been given a new feature: auto-driving; this enables the car to drive itself, or (if the player wants go the route of Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2) they can disable it in favor of manually driving the car.
Types of Viceroys
Gunman
- Main article: Gunman
The weakest type of Viceroy, Gunmen can be easily killed by a shotgun shell to the chest or a headshot. Gunmen wield pistols, SMGs or shotguns, and will occasionally throw Frag Grenades (much like the other types of Viceroys excluding Enforcers) towards Aiden’s cover spot.
Veteran
- Main article: Veteran
Veterans are soldiers who are more experienced than Gunmen, but not as strong as Marksmen. A couple of SMG/Assault Rifle rounds or a shotgun blast can easily take them out. Their heads are also vulnerable to headshots.
Marksman
- Main article: Marksman
Gunmen who use sniper rifles. They are usually perched high up among the ruins of locations like Rossi-Fremont and can be difficult to identify without being spotted due to their locations. A sniper rifle is the best option to help identify them, but the best method is to just look for their distinctive red sights. Marksmen can be taken out easily with a sniper shot to the head, but this can be difficult due to the unsteadiness of sniper rifles. Whichever method you use, Marksmen should be eliminated as soon as possible since they can kill Aiden in two to three shots. Marksmen, when spotted, will have a red circular shaped target over their heads to identify them.
Elite
- Main article: Elite
These «family» members wear tactical armor and wield high-power automatic weapons. When identified, they will have a red star on their bodies. Elites are tough to take out due to their armor, but they have open-faced helmets, making their heads a weak point.
Enforcer
- Main article: Enforcer
As with any other Enforcers in the game, these are the strongest, yet rarest members of the Black Viceroys. They have incredibly tough full-body armor and wield powerful shotguns or machine guns, which can kill Aiden in a matter of seconds if he doesn’t take good cover. Enforcers are nearly unstoppable if the player uses rifles or shotguns, but they are incredibly weak to explosions. The best way to do this is to use the Lure to get them near a Junction Box or other explosive device, which will kill them in a matter of seconds. If you have IEDs or Frag Grenades, you can toss at least two of them at an Enforcer to kill him. Finally, a quick way to kill an Enforcer before he becomes a pest is to shoot two rounds from any grenade launcher (G106 or GL-94). Enforcers, when spotted, will be marked with a red shield to help the player identify them.
Watch Dogs 2
